Getting set up with the slate fram...Well done Dima! Getting set up with the slate frame does get quicker and easier with practice. The differences in setting up will be due to the fabric you are using. Crewelwork only uses linen, whereas goldwork uses muslin and your top fabric, so there’s an extra step or two to account for the extra fabric.
