It's the first TUSAL of the year and I'm off to a great start. I have a lot of creme thread, most of it from my Hardanger piece and the SAL Dentelles. Lots of green and brown as well from Tree of Hope.
Basically all the the snipped threads from your different projects are placed in a jar. Every month we post a picture of our jars for the Totally Useless SAL that daffycat holds on her website. You can find out more here http://itsdaffycat.blogspot.ca/2015/01/the-totally-useless-stitch-long-2015.html
Some stitchers eventually use that years ORTs (Old Ratty Tails) as stuffing for a little ornament. I haven't done anything with mine yet. I just enjoy seeing it pile up :)
Great start to the ort year!
